Can I move my Pinter before Tapping?Updated 8 hours ago

We recommend keeping your Pinter in place once conditioning is complete, but if you need to move it, here’s what you should know:

Moving Your Pinter After Conditioning

Yes, you can move your Pinter before tapping, but it’s best to minimise movement where possible. This is because moving the Pinter can stir up sediment that has settled at the bottom during the brewing and conditioning process. If this happens, you may notice a slightly hazier pour or more yeast in the first glass.

How to Move It Safely

If you do need to move it:

  • Handle it gently and avoid shaking or tilting.
  • Keep the carbonation dial set to 5 while transporting your Pinter – this ensures it stays sealed and maintains pressure.
  • Let it rest for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour after moving, so any disturbed sediment can resettle - give it time to settle for a cleaner pour.
