Can I Turn the Pinter Upside Down With the Brewing Dock Still Attached?Updated 13 hours ago

We don’t recommend turning your Pinter upside down while the Brewing Dock is still attached, and here’s why:

🔧 The Brewing Dock Has a Purpose

The Brewing Dock is specifically designed to capture the spent yeast from the brewing process. This yeast should not be reintroduced into your beer, as doing so can make the brew cloudy and negatively affect the flavour and finish.

🍺 You're Not Missing Out on Beer

We understand it might look like there’s still beer in the dock, but don’t worry! Each Pinter contains 10 pints, and the small amount that remains in the Brewing Dock has already been factored into the total volume. You’re still getting a full batch of beer.

✅ What You Should Do

After the brewing stage is complete and you're ready to start conditioning, just remove the Brewing Dock as instructed, Preferably in a sick or container of some kind as there may be a release of pressure and some brew may escape,  and proceed with the next steps in your brewing journey.

If you’ve already tipped the Pinter upside down by accident, don’t panic, Simply leave it to settle with the Brewing Dock attach for an extra day or two, but for best results, try to avoid this in future brews.
