I Added the Hopper at the Wrong Time, Will My Beer Be Ruined?Updated 14 hours ago

Good news, your brew will still be absolutely fine!

If you’ve added the Hopper at the wrong stage (for example, at the start of brewing instead of after), don’t worry. The beer will still ferment and condition as normal.

The only difference?
You might notice the beer is slightly less hoppy than intended. This is because the hop oils mellow out over time when added too early in the brewing process.

When Should the Hopper Be Added?

The Hopper should be added right after the Brewing Stage is complete, just before removing the Brewing Dock. This ensures the hops retain their vibrant aroma and flavour during the conditioning phase.

Can I Replace the Hopper?

At the moment, we don’t sell individual Hoppers separately. But rest assured, even without the perfect hop timing, your beer should still taste great!
